You never know when that golden opportunity will appear.You may be fortunate in only having to place one phone call before opportunity strikes. On the other hand it may take you several hundred calls and letters before getting one interview.  My best advise is to make three new contacts a day, be focused on your search and create a plan of action.  Of course, have fun while you are in your search.
